Are you going to keep that 3rd link upper mount with all of the holes on the axle side as-is or is the plan to figure out where you want the 3rd link to mount and cut off the extra?  Really interested in what you come up with for the rear suspension, and always a cool project to catch up on.

In reply to pres589 (djronnebaum) :

As is for now. Will probably trim off the excess later after figuring the rest out.

Not sure if this is brilliant or stupid...but it works.

Finished out the weekend cleaning up the shop. Being able to just tilt the chassis up out of the way is great!

Finished getting the front suspension mounts welded on and got the transmission adapter plate sorted.

The other week with the rear suspension parts was a struggle. Mistakes were made  and had to be fixed, ran out of argon mid project, real struggle bus of a day

Today's progress.

Transmission cross member 2.0

Several pounds lighter, more room, easier to work on.

Then I welded up the holes in the rear axle housing, disassembled and cleaned the hubs, new and bigger rotors, as well as fabricating the caliper mounts.
