In stock form, our 2017 VW GTI ate through front tires on track–a common issue in many front-wheel-drive cars fitted with MacPherson struts.
The solution? Increase both camber and caster. For our GTI, that meant installing a set of camber caster plates from 034Motorsport.
While we were at it, we also installed upgraded springs, brake pads, brake rotors, wheels and tires.
